Norming Security solution enhances and extends the security features of Sage 300. While Sage 300 has built-in security features, Norming Security takes it further by allowing more granular control over user permissions, data access, and system actions. It provides a robust solution for organizations that require tighter access control and more detailed security configurations for various users.
Norming Security is an add-on module designed to provide more sophisticated and flexible user access control in Sage 300. It allows organizations to set permissions at the transaction level.
Sage 300 provides Form/Screen Level Security control which users have access to specific forms (screens) within Sage 300.
With Norming solution you can set security at the transaction level, allowing certain users or user groups to access or process only specific types of transactions.
Example:
A user may have the ability to view and access the Vendor ABC related information such as the vendor master, purchase orders but cannot access to the other vendors and associated transactions. This control helps enforce separation of duties, a key compliance requirement for many organizations.
Norming Security allows control over reporting as well, you control access to specific information in any reports by linking and applying the security configuration. This is important for organizations where only certain individuals are authorized to access certain types of information.
